This workshop gives participants insights into individual and group creativity and develops key creativity skills.
At the heart this workshop is one of the best training videos ever made, Everyday Creativity by Dewitt Jones. Dewitt is an internationally known photographer who uses photography to introduce key creativity concepts. The messages in this beautiful and powerful video include:
- There's always more than one right answer
- Re-frame problems into opportunities
- Don't be afraid to make mistakes
- Break the pattern
- You've really got to care
This workshop uses Dewitt's ideas and powerful images as a starting point to explore creative techniques. Participants learn a number of methods to stimulate individual and group creativity and apply their creativity to relevant organizational topics.
Participants go beyond this initial creativity stage to learn ways to select and enhance their best ideas. The focus is on the end goal of applying new ideas to create innovation. Creativity is applied to topics relevant to the organization during the workshop.
